"Eco Winter"

As you know, I am still on house arrest due to my recovery from surgery so I wanted to post some photos that I took a little bit ago at this time (hence the Christmas Tree in the background). I love this designer/store I met on a recent trip to Toronto by the name of KooCoo Carrillo. Her Designs are eco-friendly which I highly support especially being a Pescetarian, Rescue Animal owning, non fur wearing woman. "G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S"

Well, I have been a little MIA from the blog because I just had pelviscopy surgery last week. I had been having pain in my lower abdomen for about a year and a half; and after numerous cat-scans and ultrasounds, this was a last resort. I call this post "glamorous" because it is not, lol. I think it's important for me to be totally real and update my readers on what is happening and not just a "filtered" life, pun intended. I am still resting at home and in some discomfort but I know this small amount of pain and slow healing will be all worth it to overcome the pain I was in before. The surgery burned off some endometriosis and removed cysts I had on my right ovary. I thought I would love this down time but someone can only take so much Sex and the City, New Girl, and Portlandia. Actually I am feeling more inspired than ever and can't wait for this healing to speed up. If you see a fashion post in the next couple of days where I have a perfect blowout and makeup,don't be deceived by that one I may still actually be in bed as I stocked some previous shoots up for this bed rest time, but I will be back in no time! thanks for reading.

"Up Close"

I want this to be the first of many strictly jewelry posts. I love jewelry so much and sometimes it can get neglected in a blog post with an entire look. I would like to start focusing on the jewelry pieces separate and together sometimes so you can see how beautiful they are.
